Bob was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the New York area when he was 7 years old. After staying in the New York area and studying Chemical Engineering at Rutgers University for two years, Bob enlisted in the Air Force and served 3 years. Following this, the Army recruited Bob where he finished his Bachelor's degree and became a Commissioned Officer serving 4 years. While on active duty he was stationed in Germany and deployed to Operation Desert Storm.
After returning home from military duty, Bob began a career in banking at First National Bank of Omaha. He rose to the position of Vice President of Commercial Credit Cards and Business Banking. Bob worked with First National for 14 years, after which he moved to Northern California in 2008. Bob has worked with Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Cathay Bank as a Commercial Banker where he focused his expertise and passion to help people grow.
Enjoying helping solve business and financial concerns, Bob has helped many people with the insight to making good business decisions, while helping them establish financial goals. Gaining his life license with the state of California in 2019, Bob decided to pivot and studied to pass his securities test to become a financial advisor. He believes in being kind, approachable and encouraging, helping others understand their goals. Bob's passion is to serve those he can, regardless of socioeconomic status.
Bob is married, with one son. He volunteers his time with the Boy Scouts and his church. Bob enjoys golf, reading about American History and keeping abreast of current affairs in the world.
